Greetings! We hope you and your family are in good health. We care about our patients and we wanted to reach out to you and inform you about what we are doing here at Byron Dental Group to keep our team, our patients and our community safe. We are following the Minnesota Dental Association, American Dental Association and CDC guidleines to do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19. We have been working diligently to procure adequate PPE (personal protective equipment). Supply is currently limited and this has impacted our ability to see patients at our normal capacity. Additional measures we are taking to ensure the safety of our team and patients are listed below. 

1 - All Team members have agreed to have their temperature taken each morning to ensure no low grade fever

2 - Our office will ask you about some screening questions on the phone and request you bring a mask. If you don't have one, one will be provided. You will be asked to dress warm due to the temperature inside the building being kept cooler to keep staff comfortable with the extra PPE they are having to wear

3 - We are requesting patients remain in their vehicles upon arrival and to call the office upon arrival

4 - We will come out to greet you and take your temperature to ensure no low grade fever (defined as 100.4F per CDC guidelines). You will be asked screening questions and ask you to put your facemask on and escorted into our office

5 - You will be given hand sanitizer and your oxygen level tested (90% or below may be an indicator of upper respiratory distress)

6 - All staff equipped with increased PPE including N95 face masks, face shields and long gowns

7 - We are practicing high frequency cleaning of all door knobs, pens, reception area and clinical area counter tops/surfaces and restrooms
